Reflection

I was reflecting today on how some days we do not wish others to see who we really are inside. We become quite good at playing parts. We wear different masks, we hide our feelings for whatever reasons, and there are many reasons in the course of a day. Sometimes It is hard to be one’s self. To stand up for one’s view’s, belief’s, or opinion’s, can make people uncomfortable. We can even become uncomfortable with ourselves. Like the words from the song from Disney’s Mulan says” Must I pretend that I’m someone else for all time. When will my reflection show who I am inside? Why must we all conceal what we think and how we feel? Must there be a secret me I’m forced to hide?

I think the more time we spend getting to know ourselves, the easier it becomes to see our true reflection, and who we really are inside.
