All Souls Day A Poem- No more goodbye’s

All souls day is a special day the Church sets aside each year in November, to honor our dearly departed. I personally,  do not like to think of our loved ones, who have gone before us, as a final good-bye, but rather, as a so long for a while. In faith, we are assured of a reunion, like we can never imagine.

A Poem  =        No more goodbye’s

It’s not goodbye, but so long that we say,

To our dearest loved ones, who have gone far away?

It can’t be goodbye, not if we love,

Not if we believe in the heavens above.

We are told, that faith is what we need

In order for us to believe in things we cannot see.

I have seen the light, and I have felt the peace,

Others have said there are beautiful trees,

Rivers of waters, and beautiful seas.

And why not I say

I have seen it here below,

So tell me why can’t it be so?

Somehow, I believe

The goodbye’s of this world,

Will turn into a joy, when we greet

our dear loved one’s,

In the forever more.

1 Corinthians    2-9    ” Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, nor has it so much as entered

The heart of man, what God have prepared for those who love him.”

My heart tells me that love is the key that opens the door to eternity.

For we walk by faith, and not by sight.

Suggestion= I recommend listening to , and viewing thie beautiful inspirational video, and song – I can only imagine = Written by Bart Millard.

Millard wrote this song after the death of his father as he considers what it would be like in heaven, and standing before God. Millard earned the dove award, and songwriter of the year in 2010. It was certified platinium.
