The World Around Me = A Poem

How can I change the world around me Lord?

What can I do to make a difference?

One person is like a drop in the ocean, what effect does that have on the world?

What can I do to be closer to you?

How can I make a difference? How can I change the world around me Lord?

Does it really matter what I think? Does it really matter what I say?

Or, does it matter what I do?

How can I become more like you?

I become discouraged by what I see in front of me. Lack of love, lack of hope, lack of faith, in Thee.

In this world around me.

I feel this pain deep in my heart, because I don”t know where to start.

How can I help to bring back the love, hope and faith in Thee?

How can I make a difference?

Is It by becoming more like Thee?

Help me Oh Lord to place my trust in Thee.

Is there anything better that I can do, than to place my trust in you.

Yes the world is changing around us,

But Jesus says ” John 16 = 33 ” In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.”
