In my book, Medjugorje a new beginning, I mention six song, poem, lessons.
The sixth, and last song, poem, lesson is called- The gifts-
The Gifts
Come little children, and listen to me.
My gifts are so many, and they are all free.
They are yours for the asking, not just for a few.
They’re for your brothers, and sisters, and they’re also for you.
The gifts that I give you all come from above.
The first gift I give you is all of my love.
You have it within you wherever you go,
Don’t take it for granted that I love you so.
The gifts of faith, hope, and love are yours every day.
If they are not used child, then they wither away.
They are yours for the asking,
Not just for a few.
They’re for your brothers, and sisters, and they’re also for you.
So come little children and pray every day, and ask for the gifts that I am giving away.
They are yours for the asking, not just for a few.
They’re for your brothers, and sisters, and they’re also for you.
I believe The Lord is telling us through these words, that faith, hope, and love are his gifts to us, just for the asking. We have these gifts available within us every day when we pray. They are all free, no charge, but if they are not used they wither away, they are gone. These words were not just for me; they are for everyone who will listen to them.
