Isaiah 9:6 Jesus is the Prince of Peace. For a child is born to us, a son will be given to us. and the government will rest on his shoulders, and his name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of peace.
Philippians 4; 6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
The song” Let there be peace on earth, was written by Jill Jackson Miller. Jill tells her story of what inspired her to write this song. She was an orphan, spent most of her life in foster care. She became an actress, a songwriter, a very talented person, but she was not very unhappy. She had a terrible marriage, and decided she did not want to live. She tried to take her life, but the Lord intervened. She felt God’s unconditional love for her, which inspired her to write this beautiful song, and to spread peace where ever she could. I feel inspired whenever I hear this song, and my hope is, it will also inspire you.
