Happy New Year 2019 = My Perfect Word

I can”t believe that another year has passed, it seems like the older you get, the faster time goes. Each new year I like to talk about = New Beginnings . One of my new beginnings this year is picking out my new word for the new year.
Ever since reading Debbie Ma Cumber”s book= A Perfect Word, I take her advice and as the new year approaches, I pray and ask The Lord” What special word will I learn from this year?” I find my answers in prayer.
At Christmas time 2018 I was inspired by a talk that Pope Francis gave on [Living a Simpler Life]. It made alot of sense to me as my husband and I just recently had a discussion about this very subject. It was a conformation to my answer to prayer. I also received another conformation from, Dr Johnson Institute Dr Johnson posted a healing prayer for “The Virtue of Simplicity”
. So I have decided to spend this year simplifying my life. Each day this word Simplicity will remind me to begin looking for ways to do that. This perfect word I”m sure will have much to teach me this year.
How about you? What will your perfect word teach you this year?
Hear is the Healing Prayer for The Virtue of Simplicity.

{ A Healing Prayer for The Virtue of Simplicity.}

I fully recognize the hand of God
I marvel at the beauty of the morning, light gracing the edge of my bed.
I see the morning light as beams of grace from above, I am enthralled by its majesty.”
I fully recognize your healing hand touching me. Soothing the pain of me brokenness.
I depend on your light, Lord, to bring me healing this day..”
Today is sweet, uncomplicated, innocent, and without pretense, as am I also at my true core of grace.
Today is good; it possesses that Divine quality of God that knows no bounds.
I experience this goodness and likewise know no boundaries today in appreciating the beautiful simplicity of the moment I now want to savor and want to keep in my heart all day long.
Amen
