Follow The Crowd Inspired -Poem-Prayer

don’t want to have a mind of my own. I don’t want to think, I don’t want to feel.

I am told not to help, I am told not to kneel.

I am told to just go along with the crowd, that this life is a fake, this life is not real.

I don’t really know what I believe any more. Have I lost my faith Lord? I’m not sure. Can it be restored?

Follow the crowd is what I am told is the right way to be, then I don’t have to think, and I don’t have to choose, I can just go along, right or wrong win or lose.

I have been taught right from the start, right from wrong. I know in my heart good from bad, so why then do I follow those who would lead me astray?

Why do I keep silent when I have so much to say?

I want to think, and I want to feel. I want to help, and I want to kneel. I don’t want to go along with the crowd any more. I want to be real, I want my faith restored.

Help me Lord, I’m crying out to you, Tell me what to do. Please restore my faith, and my love for you.

Our Father who art in heaven, have mercy on me, and on the whole world.
