In my previous book, Medjugorje A New Beginning, I explain what happened to me in answer to prayer while driving to and from work in Oct-2000.
I believe I received six divinely inspired lessons-poems-songs from the Lord.
The title of the third lesson-poem-song is called= Love Is The Answer.
Over the last fourteen years I have pondered the words to this lesson about loving, and why I have come to believe that= loving is the answer to life, and the key that opens the door to eternity.
Time for me has not lessened the importance of these words on loving from the Lord. Instead they have become more meaningful than the day they were received.
These are the words I heard in my heart= in poetic form.
Love Is The Answer
Love is the answer
To all your pleads, and needs, and wants.
So stop your worry,
Be in a hurry.
to come to me and love.
Be not afraid to do the right thing.
What is the right thing?
How will I know?
Your soul is searching,
your heart is aching to do the right thing, I know.
Love is the answer.

Don’t try to fight it.
Don’t try to hide it.
The answers from above.

Reflection
God is love. If we love him, then we must be like him. We must love. How do we love? Who do we love? When do we love?
When we take time to be with the Lord He fills us with his grace and light. We become like him. We begin to love. We begin to see things in a different light. In his light. As the author Matthew Kelly says, ”We become the best version of ourselves.” The Lord says, “Love is the answer, to all our pleads, and needs, and wants.”
When we spent time with God in prayer, and plead with him about our needs, and wants, and listen for his answers, we will have his light, if we love. The Lord’s lesson says don’t try to fight it. Don’t try to hide it, the answers from above, the answers, just to love.
It is not always easy to love that’s for sure, but we must look for our answers in the most loving way we can, because that is God’s way. God is love.
The lesson goes on to tell us be not afraid to do the right thing? What is the right thing? How will I know?
Your soul is searching, your heart is aching to do the right thing, I know.
Sometimes fear stops us from being the best version of ourselves.
We must pray for the gift of courage so that we can make the right decisions, In the most loving manner possible.
We were given a conscience to know right from wrong. When we pray our conscience is enlightened.
