With all the discourse in the world today maybe we need to reflect on what part we may be playing in this lack of peace in our world. How can we who claim to be christians have no restraint on how we speak, and act toward one another even in our own families those we are closest to, where is our Love for one another? Which comes first? Love for one another with its morals? or Issues what ever they may be, and we have big ones, and small ones every day. Do Issues take president over our love for one another? How can we expect the world to be at peace, when we are not at peace with one another. If there is no love, then there is no peace. Peace begins with me and you. It begins in the heart, and in the home. It begins with respect, and love for one another, even though we disagree on Issues. If we place love for one another first in every situation, we can work through the issues, and differences in a loving peaceful manner. That is God’s way, because God is Love. We may fail in love every day, but the good news is with God’s grace love enters into our hearts and we begin again to love because Love is the answer to peace.
Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.
Prayer- Lord, may I never be a stumbling block to peace., in my life, or in anyone else’s.
