It’s Friday of Holy Week, our lenten journey is almost over. Today is the holiest day of the year. At 3;pm in our parish we will have a veneration of the cross. kissing the cross, and thanking Jesus for dying for us, so that we might have eternal life with him forever.
Suggestion; In your love for Jesus, kiss the cross today in veneration and thanksgiving for giving you eternal life.
A Poem = Jesus Our Salvation
Let us give a gift of love today,
To Jesus on the cross.
Let us place a kiss upon His wounds,
His feet, His hands, and His side.
And proclaim to the world,
That His love for us,
Is the reason why He died.
He took upon Himself our sins,
And opened the gates of Heaven,
So that one day we would share,
Eternal life with Him,
And The Father forever.
