Happy new Year =2018

Happy New Year

I’m late this year, usually I begin to write the first of the year because I love new beginnings and I am eager to write about my resolutions for the  New Year, but

I have been sick with the flu like many other people, on and off for the last three weeks, which has delayed my writing. But thanks be to God I am recovering, and my prayers are for all of the people who have had this terrible flu, that they also are on their way to recovery.

I have written many times about the importance of prayer in our lives. We are busy people, but if we are concerned about improving in our spiritual life, then there is nothing more important that we can do, then to take time each day in our daily lives to pray.

It is not helping God, Prayer helps us get to know who God is. He communicates to us in prayer.

Reading the Bible every day is a great way to begin in prayer. There is a little book that I have recommended several times in my writings, because I find it very helpful with reading the Bible every Day. It is called-One bread, one body and you can find it on =www.presentationministries.com.

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to read some scripture every day.

This year Jan 9, 2018 I have decided to read all year through Psalms, and Proverbs.  I am beginning today with Psalm 1= and it is called =True Happiness= I will read one psalm, or Proverb a day, and share it with you.

I would love for you to join me in this venture, and maybe give me some feed back on my web site. Thank you
