God’s Word

We are told that when we pray we speak to God, and when we read the word of God, he speaks to us. I know for some of us who are not familiar with reading the Bible, it can be a challange. Where do we start?  Well we can start from the beginning,  Genesis, or we can pray, and ask the Lord, where should I start? Or we can randomly open the Bible and read, and then take a little time to listen to what God wants to say to us. I believe by reading the Bible, we come to know God through his word, in a special way.   Like every thing else sometimes we need to start slow. Maybe we can start by just putting the bible in a predominate place where we can have access to it each day. We know when items are in front of us we tend to use them more often.  If we want a closer relationship with God, I have found the bible, and prayer to be my answer. Love finds a way.
