Conscience

Acts 24; 16  In this regard I too always strive to keep  my conscience  clear without  offense before God and man.

Thomas A Kempis in his book= The imitation of Christ stated that the glory of a good man is the witness of a good conscience.” Preserve a quiet conscience and you will always have joy. A quiet conscience can endure much, and remains joyful in all trouble, but an evil conscience is always fearful and uneasy.”

Benjamin Franklin said” Keep conscience clear, Then never fear.”

George Bernard Shaw said” Better keep yourself clean and bright, you are the window through which you must see the world.”

Socrates reliance on what The Greeks called his “daemonic sign ” an averting inner voice heard only when he was about to make a mistake.

Religious views of conscience usually see it as linked to a morality inherent in all humans.

Conscience also known as = The voice within = The inner light

United Nations universal Declaration of Human Rights Article I.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act toward one another in a spirit of brotherhood.
