The Blessed Mother speaks of love today [ WM7-31-85 “Dear Children, hatred gives rise to division and blinds one to everything and everybody. I call you, then, to spread harmony and peace, especially where you live. Dear children, act with love. May love be your only tool. With love, change into good all that satan is trying to destroy and take for himself. In this way you will be completely mine and I will be able to help you.
” 1 Jn 3:11,16-18 In his first letter, St John takes up the theme of love:” For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
How does God’s love abide in anyone who has the world’s goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses to help? Little children, let us love, not only in word, and speech, but in truth and action.
